“I’m an entrepreneur that strives for engagement and results!”
What’s Up, I'm Kelsey Maynor, a hospitality consultant, soci-political influencer, public speaker and author of Help! I’m Talking to Myself, an introductory mental health journal full of inspiring, empowering and motivational concepts.
Help! Help is something we all need, yet too often never ask for. For many of us, talking to yourself, whether aloud or in your head, is a tell-tale sign of crazy. However, the more you speak with successful people, you will soon realize that it is very, very common. In fact, talking to yourself can become therapeutic.
In this book, you will see the very words, thoughts and speeches I spoke to myself. These speeches harness ideas of self love and encouragement, community, resilience, determination and some “aha” self-realizations. These are not just necessary to read, but beneficial for you to speak to yourself and believe.
Watch this video, and you will be able to see that it's not just about going back to the schools, universities and businesses to talk at people, but it's about building connections. Relationship building is key. Watch as students give testimonies regarding how I am able to relate, inspire and empower them through my Lights, Camera, Action! speech.
Let me see you keep 250+ people engaged for an hour and 45 minutes... it's not easy, but I can show you how.
"I asked Mr. Maynor to come speak at the college, and it was more than I could have asked for. I was impressed with his ability to relate to the students and have them engaged from beginning to end. The group thoroughly enjoyed his presence, and many of them later asked if he could come back to speak again. With a mixture of humor, life lessons and overall motivation, he is able to make his audience feel comfortable yet connected to his message."
“I appreciate you firing up my group of male students. Your dynamic speech enlightened the boys to begin thinking about how high they should set their goals! Not to mention it was a perfect segue into career goal building. I know the boys enjoyed you as they didn’t want to head to their next class. I look forward to the next time you stop by and give a boost of determination and motivation!”
“The kids loved your presentation and they walked away with something. Thank you for taking the time to come out and truly engage with our scholars. They really appreciated it.”
"Kelsey was able to create an inspiring dialogue with our young kings in the making. He encouraged them to think beyond their present limitations and to identify positive attributes within themselves."
"Kelsey is one of the most authentic contributors to the creative health of millennials. He embodies the original fabric that others claim as their hustle and has the ability to shape the thought process of those trying to be more than they have been told they can be. As a member of our Next Big Thing community, he continues to help create our path towards the future."
Free Hand is a creative writing group of like-minded writers needing support for their work, through writing peer critiques, workshops & classes, and just encouragement. There are many different types of writing circles or writing groups, but nothing quite like this.
Free hand is the double entendre.
The meaning of free hand is the doing of something manually, without aid, but also, it is the idea of having a free hand to help one another creatively express thought and idea through written language.
